Sam DeVries is one of those people, and through his bespoke business DeVries Designs, he makes people’s dream outdoor oasis a reality.

We first worked with Sam in 2019 when we built a website for his new business. At the time, there weren’t many complete projects to showcase as the business was just starting out. Since then, DeVries Designs has grown significantly and has earned a reputation as one of Perth’s leading boutique landscape design companies.
In 2022, Sam approached Of Note to refresh the website to reflect the massive growth in his business and to showcase the amazing projects that have been completed. We started the engagement with a strategy session and learned that DeVries Designs is moving into its next phase of maturity, focusing on larger, integrated projects from beginning to end. Sam has built a strong brand with a solid reputation and is getting recognition on a more public scale.
For the website rebuild, we decided that pictures would speak louder than words. Of Note captured a range of fresh new photographs and video utilising bright, natural light to accentuate the beauty of each outdoor space. We also refreshed the copy to succinctly communicate the essence and offerings of the business, which now incorporates pool and landscape maintenance as part of its end-to-end service.
Of Note designed a range of documents for DeVries including a capability statement, display books and signage. We also created an automated email campaign to streamline the communications process with clients.
We feel privileged to have an ongoing partnership with Sam and absolutely love seeing his amazing designs.
